MOSCOW, Aug 5 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may increase at the opening on Wednesday backed by a positive foreign background, analysts said.
“The possibility of a slight increase in the RTS index remains in force, the dynamics of oil prices after the explosion in Lebanon may become a factor supporting demand in the oil and gas sector,” Olma senior analyst Anton Startsev said.
The U.S. stock indices increased 0.3–0.6%, the U.S. stock index futures are trading near the levels of Tuesday’s close, European stock indices closed in a small minus, and Asian indices are mostly growing, the analyst said.
